Abstract

Neurological rehabilitation represents one of the most complex and
prolonged components of contemporary medical care, as it aims to restore
functions lost following a nervous system injury and to reintegrate the affected
individual into family, social, and professional life. Unlike acute care, where the
focus is on stabilizing vital functions, the neurorehabilitation process unfolds over
months or years and depends fundamentally on the active participation of the
patient and their family [1,2]. Over the last decade, international research has
increasingly focused on the role of therapeutic education as a tool for enhancing
autonomy, preventing complications, and improving the quality of life for
individuals with neurological disabilities [3].
